KVBC-NextGen 2015
The Vice President of Joshua House – Kelwen Goh, shares about her experience in the recent KVBC-NextGen 2015 Conference in Ipoh:
“It has been a worthwhile experience to be given this opportunity to attend this conference. I now begin understand why we spend so much time in studying the bible in WYN. The KVBC-NextGen Conference really taught us the importance of reading God’s Word correctly, so that we can teach it well to others. I was very encourage by the generosity of the trainers/facilitators who willingly shared their knowledge and eagerness to teach others in reading the bible accurately.
There were also Bible talks on Ezekiel and Galatians. What truly caught my attention was the Bible talk on Ezekiel 8-10. It reminded us how serious sin is to God and how it provokes Him to anger. The passage also highlighted that God has every right to be jealous and He does not tolerate sin. But yet, God in His love and grace took what was meant to be our punishment and placed it on His Son, Jesus.
The talks on Galatians showed that, it is by faith in Christ we get saved and it is by faith in Christ we stay saved! And we ought to get rid of false gospel and to preach Christ and Christ alone. We are no longer under the law, we are led by the Spirit. We are saved not by doing, but by believing in Jesus as our Lord and Savior.”
